No wonder your so fast at polo. I was thinking about giving the commuting thing a try. Mapped out the route last night and it's only 3.5 miles each way. Do you do commute every day all year?
Yup. Unless I'm illin' and the nights I have class I'm on 2 wheels. Beefed up my winter cycling gear recently and think I have what it takes to roll through winter. It'll be my 3rd winter commuting, but I've never had this far to go. I'm thinking about putting a rack on my mountain bike for when it's snowy/crappy, and saving the Trucker for dry conditions.
My route is: my house to the Field Club trail, FCT to Leavenworth, cut through some neighborhood to Farnam, then Farnam to 16th, 16th to Dodge. I work in the First National Tower. 3.5 miles or 15 minutes. Just enough to bread a sweat.

How many miles is your commute?
12 miles a push... 24 RT (in case you're not so mathy)

You playing Polo Sunday?
I'd like to, but probably won't make it. In-laws are in town this weekend... they might still be around by gametime.
Bring them to watch, and give them some of your beer.
